In accordance with the policy of China Railway, once the booking has been confirmed changes are not allowed. To modify the travel date or departure time, you need to cancel the existing booking and issue a new one.
Cancellation policy
The following cancellation terms apply to the train fares:

If you wish to cancel your booking with China Railway, kindly manage your booking and request a cancellation to proceed with the refund. This option is available until 24 hours before departure, except in public holidays. No ticket refund if the ticket has already been collected at the station or authorized ticket office.
Service fees will not be refunded. Cancellation fees will apply. Refund amount is subject to the railway authority.
For the route Hanoi-Nanning:
- 33% of the ticket fare + 50,000 VND per ticket if the ticket has been issued.
- No ticket refund if less than 3 days to departure.
For the route Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hongkong:
- 5% of the ticket fare + 10 CNY per ticket if the ticket has been issued.
- 30% of the ticket fare + 10 CNY per ticket if 2 to 15 days to departure.
- 50% of the ticket fare + 10 CNY per ticket if 1 to 2 days to departure.
- No ticket refund if less than 1 day to departure or departure on public holiday.
For any other route:
- 10 CNY per ticket if the ticked has been issued.
- 5% of the ticket fare + 10 CNY per ticket if 2 to 15 days to departure.
- 10% of the ticket fare + 10 CNY per ticket if 1 to 2 days to departure.
- No ticket refund if less than 1 day to departure or departure on public holiday.
