Types of airlines in Vietnam
There are four domestic carriers operating in Vietnam: two full-service carriers and two low-cost carriers.

Full-service carriers
Vietnam Airlines (VN) is the national flag carrier of Vietnam operating domestic flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh to all the airports in the country, as well as international flights to Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, China, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.

Bamboo Airways (QH) is a Vietnamese full-service airline operating domestic flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh to a selected number of airports in the country.

Low-cost carriers
VietJet Air (VJ) is a Vietnamese low-cost airline operating domestic flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh to most of the airports in the country, as well as international flights to Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, China, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.

Getting around Vietnam by plane
Vietnam has 22 commercial airports, including three major international gateways: Noi Bai Airport serving Hanoi, Da Nang Airport serving Da Nang, and Tan Son Nhat Airport serving Ho Chi Minh.Other international airports include Cat Bi Airport serving Hai Phong, Cam Ranh Airport serving Nha Trang, Lien Khuong Airport serving Da Lat, Can Tho Airport serving the Mekong Delta and Phu Quoc Airport serving the island of Phu Quoc.

How to use the flight e-ticket
The electronic ticket is valid to collect the boarding pass at the check-in counter in the airport. It cannot be used to board the plane. Passengers must follow the instructions contained in the e-ticket and print a physical copy in advance or carry a digital copy in the mobile phone or tablet to present it during check-in.
